These terms govern the free Espace Doyard-Mahé service: personal cellar inventory, 3D visualisation and educational game. It does not provide sales, ordering or payment. An email address and password are required for an account; the service is restricted to people aged 18 or over. Creating an account constitutes acceptance of the terms. The privacy policy is a separate document.

2. Service description
You can add, view, edit and delete bottle records, view the cellar in 3D, consult indicative estimates and use the scanner with confirmation of the information. The game saves progress when signed in so you can resume your journey. The scanner proves neither bottle authenticity nor the accuracy of every recognised detail.
3. Account and user obligations
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and must report unauthorised use. Provide accurate information, use the service for its intended purpose and do not attempt to access other accounts’ data. Unlawful use is prohibited. Deletion is available in settings under the arrangements described in the privacy policy.
4. Intellectual property and entered data
Texts, images, logos, trademarks and application elements belong to SCEV Doyard Mahé or their respective rights holders. Reproduction or distribution requires permission, subject to applicable third-party component licences. Your records and notes remain yours; inventory export is available as JSON or CSV. Technical storage does not grant the house a right to use these contents commercially.
5. Administrative access and recipients
Accounts, bottle inventories, personal notes and game progress are stored in Supabase. Champagne Doyard-Mahé and people authorised to administer the service have technical access to these data. The house does not routinely inspect the contents of your cellar or notes. Access may be necessary for support, maintenance, security, handling a data rights request or a legal obligation.
6. No commercial use
Data associated with your cellar account, bottles, notes and game progress are not used for marketing outreach, advertising or commercial profiling. They are not sold or disclosed to partners for these purposes. Messages sent through the website contact form are used to answer your enquiry.
7. Personal notes
Notes are optional and are not published or offered for sharing with other users. The same commitments against commercial use and the same administrative access apply as for other cellar data. Notes are included in your inventory export. Avoid entering sensitive data or personal information about other people.
8. Retention and deletion
Account, cellar and game data are retained while the account is in use. Deletion can be requested in settings or by contacting the house. The request covers the account and associated data. Contact us if the application reports a failure or incomplete deletion. Necessary security or legal records and backup copies may remain for their retention periods; immediate erasure of every copy is not promised.
9. Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing. The settings JSON or CSV export contains your email and the loaded cellar inventory, including notes. For an additional copy of account or game progress data, or any other rights request, write to champagne.doyard.mahe@gmail.com. We respond within one month; a reasoned extension may apply in the cases provided by the GDPR. You may lodge a complaint with the French CNIL.
10. Photos and bottle searches
The scanner analyses photos on your device; it does not send them to Supabase or Open Food Facts. It does not retain them after you leave the scanner. Only the bottle details you confirm and save are sent to Supabase. An online search initiated by you sends the entered name or barcode to Open Food Facts, without photos, personal notes or your inventory.
Voluntarily adding a photo to a record is separate from scanning. The image is resized then stored in Supabase in synced mode, or only in this browser in “on this device” mode. Its destination is shown before adding. It can be removed from the record and included in your export; technical access and no-commercial-use rules apply to photos saved in Supabase.
11. Local storage and tracking
Storage locations, bottle sizes, sources, aromas and storage readings can be saved with your Supabase account when sync is available. The “on this device” mode, enabled by your choice, keeps these data in this browser, separately from account inventory. The local copy remains after sign-out until erased in options or by the browser; export a backup before changing devices. The service does not measure temperature or humidity automatically.
12. Availability and estimates
The free service is provided as is. The house aims to maintain availability without guaranteeing freedom from interruptions, errors or data loss. Maturity and drinking-window estimates are indicative and editable. Actual evolution depends in particular on storage conditions and the closure. Estimates are neither a quality guarantee nor a mandatory consumption date. The user’s applicable mandatory rights remain unaffected.
13. Document updates
Documents may change as the service evolves. Substantial changes are disclosed in the application and the update date is shown. Acceptance recorded for a new registration refers to the displayed version. Previous acceptance records are not rewritten.
14. Responsible consumption
Alcohol abuse is harmful to health. Drink in moderation. The service is restricted to people aged 18 or over. Drinking alcoholic beverages during pregnancy, even in small quantities, may seriously harm the child’s health.
15. Applicable law and mediation
These terms are governed by French law. To seek an amicable solution, first contact SCEV Doyard Mahé at champagne.doyard.mahe@gmail.com. Free consumer mediation is available subject to applicable legal conditions. The mediator designated by the house is CM2C, Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice. Mandatory jurisdiction rules remain applicable.
