Preserved Biodiversity
Hedges, grass strips and cover crops between rows offer refuge to beneficial insects, bees, birds and soil micro-fauna. Each parcel's ecological diversity is measured every year — a core commitment of the VDC and HVE 3 labels.
My account
On the slopes of Vertus, in the Côte des Blancs, the estate grows its chardonnay under sustainable viticulture — VDC and HVE level 3 certified — to protect the chalk subsoil that defines the appellation.

We treat as little as possible. Our Treatment Frequency Index (TFI) — the number of treatments applied over a season — stays far below the ceiling allowed by HVE level 3 certification. Progressive elimination of CMR products, pheromone mating disruption against grape moths, prophylaxis. Each parcel is monitored individually — we only intervene when strictly necessary.
Mechanical work that respects the belemnite chalk, organic fertilisation calibrated to the vines' needs, water-efficient cellar management. Lighter bottles, optimised transport, controlled energy — a progressive low-carbon approach aligned with the VDC framework.
